Introduction

This is a stand alone course and can be insightful in terms of introducing parents to how kids nlp can support and enhance your skills as a parent. It is also highly recommended before you do the parents course ‘Masterful Parenting’ which will take your learning even further.

We all know the 3 R'S are very important skills to be learned by our children. However there are another 3 R's are equally important to know as a parent so you can connect and communication far more effectively with your child. We all know times when you feel you cannot do anything right! Learn the 3R's and discover how Rapport Reduces Resistance.

An exciting innovative development for parents. As a parent you are your child's first teacher. A challenging yet most rewarding role but not without its frustrations! Our Trainers have a wealth of experience as educationalists and master practitioners in NLP. This workshop is an introduction to the parent's course, but can also stand alone. The Trainers have a wealth of experience in working with children and have a sound knowledge of child psychology and keep abreast of new research in how the best way to use our brains for learning.

We will help and support you to understand your child more, develop your skills in subtle but very effective ways to communicate much more effectively with your child, without even having to say a word!! You will leave the session with strategies you can go back and use with immediate effect. Begin to understand how to diffuse situations and know how to make a difference. Childhood should be fun, help you and your child make the most of these days by being equipped to support them more effectively. These small steps make big changes which will have you wondering why anyone didn't tell me about this before!!

Detailed Description

During their studies, Bandler and Grinder the co-founders of NLP, observed and modelled highly effective therapists and excellent communicators. They consistently noticed these people's extraordinary abilities to build rapport and therefore be able to influence the people they were working with. From this they modelled a series of strategies and approaches for both building rapport and for what they termed sensory acuity (the ability to read the emotional experience of another by noting small details in their facial expressions and physiology). It is often said the meaning of communication is what you get.

In this workshop you will get an insight into how to build rapport and become much more aware of the subtle non verbal aspects of communication. You learn how to improve your rapport skills and be able to enhance your communication skills. Our courses use the principles of accelerated learning, so everyone finds it easy to learn. They are relaxed and informative, working to improve the lives of families.
