About kids NLP

Kids NLP Scotland is headed by two successful NLP Trainers, both with a wealth of experience in education and the development of people. Their first hand experience of working with children and young people and their parents drew them to NLP. Many children and families face challenges in life: coping with change whether moving house or school, family issues, peer relationships, lack of self belief or negavtive behaviour pattterns that are difficult to break free from, anxieties of phobias. Parents often turn to the school for help and while advice can be given from a range of experts, Karen and Claire believed there must be a way to effect change quickly and proactively as there were often limited resources with long waiting lists and the family wants to change things now or the near future, that's why they seek help.

Nowadays, many families don't have nearby family networks to support them. At times other family members are blinded to the underlying mattter due to thier close involvement. Kids don't come with instruction sheets and at times as a parent or carer you don't know how to proceed.

With NLP

  • Change is rapid.
  • The techniques are easily learned by the child.
  • They learn how to use their own brain to effect change.

Karen and Claire, both with years of experience in schools, and the classroom environment, Claire as an Assistant Head and Karen as a Head Teacher, know first hand the challenges faced by children – that's why they decided to establish Kids NLP Scotland.

The Trainers of KidsNLPscotland said, "We spent a great portion of the first quarter of 2008 working in difficult schools throughout Glasgow. That was the acid test and proved that our system worked well. With some challenging classes we taught the children how to use their brains more skillfully and the kids think that it's great!"

"Each month we are working more and more with individual children, running workshops for parents to give them the tools to support their children more effectively, and also facilitating workshops for children. The word is beginning to spread that we are here to help move things forward."
